Bass fishing has been picking up in the last couple weeks! Massacre Rocks and Gifford Springs have been seeing some hot action, and closer to the dam in American Falls should be picking up shortly. White and chartreuse streamers have been the ticket on those sections. American Falls reservoir among others have also been seeing some fish starting to get on beds and show some very aggressive behavior. With the rivers high and off-colored in some places worms should find there way into your bug selection. High water means bank erosion which in turn means the worms are being ripped from there homes and being put on the menu! The Bullwhip worm is the perfect choice due to its large profile and high visibility in the water making it easy for trout to find it and munch it down. YouTube tutorial available!
