Christmas Nymph Fly Tying Tutorial

Christmas is right around the corner so we thought it was only fitting that our next bug was super festive and FISHY! 

Dubbing Dave is back at the vise today and is breaking down one of his favorite midge patterns for winter fly fishing. The Christmas nymph is a spin on the classic midge pattern. little details that bring this bug to life and get those sluggish fish to move on it. Great fly for the Snake river and Portneuf and just as lethal in our south east Idaho lakes.
